Dropped a bolt into the bike. Everyone needs a long pointy think with a magnet on the end.

I’m a fare weather camper
I admit it, I am a fare weather camper. I was going to be camping down through Spain, but not with the weather as it is. I am at Jaen and I was going to go to fort Bravo today, but think I will just head over to Algeciras and hole up for a few days. This will also give me a few days to make a better repair to the screen and give the bike a check over from the brutal punishing it got yesterday. I also see the chain oiler is a bit out of skew and not oiling the chain, so I will fix that as well. But in any case I have a can of cleaner and another of dry lube with me that I was going to use in Morocco.

Ian. If you have time while at Algeciras you should head down the coast a bit to Tarifa if you haven't been there before. Cool place with great views across the straights. In fact nice place to stay overnight. Windsurfing mecca. Have fun. It should get warmer from here on in! How is the hernia?
ReplyDeleteIf the weather picks up then Tarifa it is. Going to refit the screen tomorrow, clean and lube the chain and give the bike a general checkover. The bike is in a sheltered parking area so I should be able to do these jobs even if it’s raining.
