At last - The Sun Has got it’s hat on

Hip hip hip hooray, The sun has got its hat on and Ian is going out to play.

At last a break in the weather and it’s looking good for a ride out today.   Looks like a great opportunity for me to winge about the high humidity after all that rain :-)

Some of the others on the tour, that starts tomorrow, arrived last night.   Like me they gave up on their plans to take their time on the way down due to the bad weather.  Like me their trip so far has been frought.  Their ferry from Plymouth to Santander had engine problems, one of the three engines apparently failed and they were 5 hours late arriving in port.   This meant they arrived at 9pm in the dark and in a hail storm.    They then had treacherous ride on icey roads to their hotel, riding with knobbly tires, in the dark in freezing conditions being blown all over the place in the high winds.    They were going to take a leasurly ride throug Portugal on route here, but gave up due to the weather.

So getting ready now for a ride out to Tarifa.    Looking forward to having a bit of a blast.
