Great little town - lucky find

So was talking to the hotel owner and she said to take a walk into town, ok I said, she said, yes there is a very nice restaurant there and they sell our wine.   Your wine? Yes, ask them for the wine from the Hotel........   so as it appears I am staying in a vineyard.   They also have cherry trees and make their own Jam.    The hotel was a last min deal on Booking.com.   I wanted somewhere out of the way so I could park the bike up securely and not unload it all, me with my bad whatever it is and they said they had secure parking.  My bike is now in a shed.   The hotel is on the edge of a small town, but I did not expect the town to be so nice, given luck was the major influence in finding the place.

Entrance to the town

Walking to the town square

And the restaurant in the square

It transpires that the hotel\vinyard owns the restaurant.

Using Google translate to scan the menue I think it mised a small nuance with the lamb option,

Yes, it was too big to fit on the plate.
But they did sell the hotel’s wine

Problem is, I thought I was ordering a large glass of the stuff.    This is amazingly nice, I see the words Tempranillo on the label, which is one of my favourites.

So, due to the turn of good fortune that appears to have decended upon me I will be offering considerable libations to the Gods this evening.

Good greif this wine is so nice and unfortunately very very drinkable.  Looks like I am going to have to decline the offer of having breakfast with the hunters at 6am.  What they are hunting I care not, as long as they are quiet hunters and I can have a nice sleep in.

Hmmmmm, 15 miles to the next petrol station.   GOD’s I offer more wine.
