Yep, now I have Donkeys running out in front of me. He zigzagged around a bit so I slowed down until it was safe to pass.
A great ride through the middle Atlas Mountains today. It started off nice and gentle but soon the roads deteriorated. Every thing from loose gravel on tarmac that was like riding on ice, to red damp earth with deep slippery ruts, sections of trail that had just fallen down the mountain side, to loose rocky surfaces. As we rode I could see my driving get better mile after mile. I am now getting far better at planning and now have confidence to take deep potholes as a trade of for a better position for the next section of tough road.
We reached 2,370m today with great views
But it was a really tough day as can be seen at a restaurant we stopped at for a rest
I also got the biggest cube of sugar with my mint tea that I have ever seen.
Interesting road
With a sort of bridge over a river
Now at the hotel in Zeida.
Atlas Mountains tomorrow
