Ride from london to Portsmouth was a bit chilly

I am so glad I have a heated jacket.   It gets its power from the bike.   It was all a bit chilly and that with the wind chill at 70mph I had the jacket on level 2.   It’s just like wearing an electric blanket, except this has heated arms and heated collar.   The heated collar really does make a difference keeping my neck warm.  

I did pull over on the A3 on the way down to put on a balaclava for the full on Bank Robber effect.   My adventure crash helmet is obviously only designed for adventuring in hot climates.  

I also have heated gloves with me, but there was no need to connect them up.  

The irony of setting off to the Sahara wearing heated clothing............   but I will be leaving the heated clothing and camping gear in the hotel at Algeciras and picking it up on the way back.
